TrendHR is partnering with a well-established, multi-decade construction company to hire an Accounting Manager to lead all accounting operations.

This is not a back-office role.
This is a high-impact position where you’ll work directly with leadership, support project teams, and play a key role in the financial health and growth of the business.

What You’ll Own

• Lead A/R, A/P, and Payroll functions through a small accounting team
• Partner with Project Managers on AIA billing, job costing, and pay apps
• Manage cash flow, retainage tracking, and collections with GC partners
• Handle lien waivers, intent-to-lien notices, and Texas lien processes
• Oversee month-end and year-end close (reconciliations, journal entries, WIP)
• Prepare financial statements and bi-weekly reporting for leadership
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
• Oversee sales tax reporting and compliance
• Support HR functions alongside leadership and PEO partners
• Maintain insurance documentation and project compliance requirements

What You Bring

• 5+ years of accounting experience (construction strongly preferred)
• 2+ years supervising accounting staff
• Strong understanding of AIA billing, WIP, and job costing
• Experience with GC billing platforms (Textura, Procore, GC Pay, etc.)
• Knowledge of Texas lien law and sales tax
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000 – $90,000 base salary
